British pro bodybuilder Samson Dauda will not be competing at the Wings of Strength Tampa Pro in Florida this Saturday. Samson was supposed to be the only European on stage in the open category. He had a visa and was guaranteed to arrive not only by the management of the IFBB professional league, Jim Manion, but also by the management of the British bodybuilding and fitness competition 2 Bros Pro Events. However, this was not enough to allow him to fly to the United States. At the airport, Samson learned that his travel to the competition was not deemed necessary and he was not allowed to fly, although he did his best to take part in Wings of Strength Tampa Pro 2020. As the athlete himself wrote on his Instagram page:
“Unfortunately, it happened today, even with all the necessary paperwork, visas and sponsored help from the IFBB Professional League and @ 1_bropro. This is the world today as we see it… it really sucks, but at least we have done everything in our power, but this is not the end, we will move on "
Samson Daouda has turned pro since last fall, when he successfully debuted at the EVLS Prague Pro tournament, where he received praise from Chief Judge Steve Weinberger after his performance. He achieved his best result among the elite last year at The Battle of Britain Pro, where he was beaten only by compatriot Nathan DeAsha. Now Samson is looking forward to the next IFBB Monsterzym Korea Pro Men's Bodybuilding, which will take place in Korea from August 22 to 23.
