Glossy beauty standards begin to affect children from a very young age, especially for girls. Studies have shown that by the age of three, a thin body begins to correlate with beauty, and by the age of five girls can build a logical chain and refuse food to be slimmer, that is, more beautiful. On the basis of the desire for thinness for any purpose, dissatisfaction with your body, tendencies towards malnutrition, depression arise, the latter can form by the age of seven.

Obesity is serious and dangerous, but more children are suffering from eating disorders now, among high school students they are found in every third girl and every sixth boy.

Sometimes parents themselves aggravate the problem, they understand that obesity is bad, and seek to restore the physical health of the child, but they do it at the cost of emotional health.

A sensitive and caring parent will not shift the responsibility for overweight to the child, he will take care of drawing up a balanced diet and an active lifestyle for the whole family. This is not done for weight loss, but for health that does not hurt anyone.

Emphasize functionality

A slender child cannot be constantly told that he is slender, otherwise he risks finding some kind of fixation on maintaining such a high value. At the same time, there are many other ways to praise the excellent physical shape of the child, the body does not just stay in a certain form, it can run, jump, dance, show other functionality. It is important to focus on the right things, for example, if a girl wants to become a model, then you need to talk to her not about diets and weight loss, but about physical endurance, knowledge of foreign languages ​​and other skills.
